The Wales National County North (Wales NC North) setup has gone from strength to strength since its emergence in 2022, forming an integral stage in the pathway for cricketers in North & Mid Wales prior to full national counties honours for Wales. The programme is intended to bridge the gap between league cricket and national counties cricket so that more players can be in the shop window for higher represenative honours for Wales or beyond.
The Head Coach is responsible for the running and co-management of the North senior and U19s teams The role includes working with the captains of both sides, the players, the Wales NC North committee and the Head of Talent Pathway (who oversees overall operations) to ensure that a competitive, skilled and respectful side represents Cricket Wales and the NCCA in the best possible fashion.
Location North Wales with some travel
Reporting to: Head of Talent Pathway & Wales NC North Committee
Hours of Work: Casual (winter coaching) & Match Days
Salary: Hourly paid (dependant on qualification) for winter work & £100 a day (fixtures)
Contract: Casual Contract
