PlayCricket training comes to Wales

PlayCricket is set to become a really important part of how cricket’s participation is measured in the future. So, if your cricket isn’t on Playcricket it may get missed off when it comes to future support.
Cricket Wales has been reviewing across all cricket in Wales the extent that PlayCricket is used. Thanks for your recent feedback if you have been involved in that.
From this we have put together with the ECB two workshop sessions for you to train key people so that you can make the most of what PlayCricket offers.
Our aim is that every league in Wales will be fully on Playcricket.

Workshop 1 is aimed at Leagues getting fixtures in place: Wednesday April 7th at 7pm.
Workshop 2 is aimed at helping clubs to use PlayCricket to upload scores, scorecards and scoring: Wednesday April 14th 7pm.
In addition to these 2 workshops there will be a video we can share for individuals/parents showing them how to sign up at the individual player’s / parent’s end.

Purpose:
To help leagues set up fixtures and results.

· The benefits of Play Cricket’s new homepage template
· The About Us section
· A brief run through of the admin area
· How to set up fixtures for the season, including all the points, bonus points etc.
· The importance of clubs having accurate contact details and how to prompt them.
· How using the scoring software will save time for both the clubs and leagues
· Plus Creating individual scorecards.

Purpose: Getting clubs/coaches/ captains/team managers on board with Play cricket:
· The benefits of PC for the club and individual
· A brief run through of the admin area
· Scoring apps,
· Creating scoresheets.
· Getting EVERYONE all players registered
Main Audience = All Clubs senior & junior BUT especially all the junior leagues’ clubs.
