Notice is given of the Annual General Meeting of Cricket Wales, which is scheduled to be held on Thursday 13th October at 7pm.
The meeting will be conducted in person at Sophia Gardens Stadium, Cardiff, with a dial-in provision for members who are unable to attend.
Voting members have received an invitation from the Chair, agenda, individual voting forms and proxies (where they may be required) and all associated papers (CEO's report and annual accounts) sent directly to them, with instructions for how to register for the meeting online.
Would voting members please ensure any proxy votes to ratify appointments are received by the deadline (Monday 10th October), in order for them to be independently verified and counted alongside in-person votes on the night.
If affiliated clubs (non-voting members) wish to send a representative on behalf of the club, a committee member should contact [email protected] to confirm the representative's name and to receive a private invitation to register on-line or to be added to the guest list for the in-person event; This is to safeguard attendees' security and privacy.
In order to help us manage the videoconference technology on the evening, with potentially large numbers involved, we would ask for questions ideally to be submitted to us in advance of the meeting. This will not prevent attendees from asking questions, if they so wish, on the evening, using either the Zoom chat box or by the ‘raise hand’ function, or in the room.
We would also politely request that should any members wish for names of those from the Welsh Cricket Family who have sadly passed away this year to be acknowledged in memoriam at the meeting, those notices are also submitted to us in advance of the meeting; Please send In Memoriam notices to [email protected]
