Cricket Wales and Glamorgan Cricket Publish Second Joint Report on Inclusion Progress
To demonstrate the strides cricket is making toward becoming the most inclusive team sport in Wales, Cricket Wales and Glamorgan Cricket have today released their second public report outlining progress and impact in this area.
The report reflects the three central pillars of the cricket strategy in Wales:
- Developing our people
- Ensuring transparency in the player pathway
- Making everyone feel welcome and ‘at home’ in cricket across Wales
This year’s report places particular emphasis on the third pillar, creating a sense of belonging, and shares stories and initiatives from across the country that are helping to turn this ambition into a lived reality for players, volunteers, fans and communities alike.
Mark Frost, who leads on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) across both organisations, said:
“This isn’t a comprehensive list of everything happening in Welsh cricket, but rather a selection of meaningful examples across key themes. We’ve embedded powerful videography to bring these projects to life, so readers not only see the work in action but also feel the emotion and passion behind these stories.”
The report includes a mix of written and visual content designed to showcase the breadth and depth of inclusion-focused initiatives happening across the Welsh cricketing landscape.
