Cricket Wales (Wales National County) and NV Play are delighted to announce that a partnership that will see NV Play become our Cricket Technology Partner and Preferred Streaming Provider.
In 2022, Wales National County experimented with the NV Play match coverage package across the white ball format, and is ready to roll out this provision across all home games across the 2023 and 2024 seasons in all formats, which will include a match highlights service.
The partnership between NV Play and Cricket Wales will help enhance the digital profile of the National Counties side across Wales which has seen a significantly improved followership over the last few years. This will include the Cricket Wales website having a dedicated match centre for all National Counties games (including Wales National County North) to help our audience and supporters stay connected to our matches during the season. The performance analysis aspect of the software will, in time also play an important role in supporting and providing data on players in our pathway.
CAPTION: Followers of Wales NC, and Wales NC North will be able to view match coverage of all games in 2023 courtesy of NV Play.
NV Play’s award-winning cricket technology has been helping deliver the game at the highest levels for over 15 years. They are behind the ECB’s Play-Cricket Scorer Pro (PCS Pro) platform that drives high end recreational and professional cricket across England and Wales and is used by thousands of clubs & teams to score tens of thousands of matches across the globe.
As part of the partnership, NV Play will be Cricket Wales’ Preferred Streaming Provider. NV Play will therefore be visiting Sophia Gardens, Cardiff on Thursday February 9th 2023 between 5.30pm-8pm for any clubs that want to discuss, explore and see a demonstration of the technology in action.
This will be an informal drop in session, so clubs can attend for as little as half an hour at any point during the time period. To express interest in attending please email [email protected]. More details to follow in the week leading up to it.
