Power-up your sports club by applying for an Energy Saving Grant

Funding is available from Sport Wales to help sports clubs’ facilities become more energy efficient – saving clubs thousands of pounds off their bills while also benefiting the environment.

Clubs are invited to apply for an Energy Saving Grant which can be used towards the cost of energy saving measures such as installing solar panels, insulation upgrades, installing energy efficient LED lighting and motion sensors, improving heating and hot water systems, as well as sustainable water sourcing.

Clubs can apply for a grant up to a maximum amount of £25,000. The Energy Saving Grant has been made possible thanks to funding which has been allocated to Sport Wales by the Welsh Government.

The Energy Saving Grant launched on Wednesday 22 May 2024, and your club can complete an Expression of Interest form on the Sport Wales website by Wednesday 26 June 2024 at 4pm.
