We are extremely proud to share that Cricket Wales and Glamorgan Cricket colleague Mark Frost, BEM, was a winner at today's (Friday 12th May) IoD Wales Awards.
Mark was the winner of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Award. which recognised his long-standing commitment to driving EDI initiatives and focus through both Executive teams and Boards.
IoD Wales, in commending Mark's work, said, "[Mark's] leadership in transforming cricket in Wales into a place where everyone feels respected, valued, and treated fairly is truly commendable".
On hearing the news, Cricket Wales Twitter proudly announced, "You inspire us all every day and have been the driving force behind our ambitions, endeavours and successes in making in Wales the best it can be for so many years. Quite right and proper for you to get this recognition."
Similarly, Glamorgan Cricket shared with their followers, "Your hard work and love for the game shines through, and your passion to make it accessible for all is infectious."
Mark Frost said, "I am absolutely delighted to collect this award on behalf of a huge effort by colleagues in the recreational and professional game in Wales who, as one, are striving to give every girl and boy an equal chance of playing, and thriving in, this great game of ours."
