Cost of Living Grant for clubs in Wales

A new fund has been set up for clubs in Wales to apply for support towards individuals and cricket projects for groups for whom the cost of living rise may disadvantage their participation in cricket.

The main areas that are eligible will be indoor training facilities for winter programmes, appropriate club kit, or similar costs. 

(Please note that there is an alternative bursary scheme for Welsh Cricket clubs aimed at coach education courses here). 
Grants of up to £500 may be made. Please complete the below application if you consider you have a project that will support people experiencing financial hardship.  To find out if you are an area determned as economically deprived please refer to the Welsh Index of Multiple Deprivation a useful postcode checker is here.
The Deadline for applications is 31st October 2023.

Children whose families are on lower incomes and qualify for certain benefits can apply for a grant of:

  • £125 per learner
  • £200 for learners entering year 7 (to help with increased costs associated with starting secondary school)
