Cricket Wales are delighted to announce a one-year partnership with leading cryptocurrency safety experts CoinCover, which will see the South Wales based organisation appear on the front of the playing shirt for the Cricket Wales South (CWS) regional programme.
Since its forming in 2018, CoinCover has quickly established itself as one of the world’s leading companies where it comes to setting standards for cryptocurrency where security is concerned. They have worked extensively with the UK Government, businesses listed across the NASDAQ stock exchange, law enforcement and armed forces to develop sector leading solutions within the ever evolving world of digital technology. Last year alone they checked and validated more than $10 billion worth of crypto transactions.
CWS represents part of the regional programme within the Welsh cricket pathway, covering the West Glamorgan, Mid Glamorgan and Vale of Glamorgan areas and plays an integral role, alongside clubs in the area, in developing the next generation of cricketers for both Glamorgan CCC and the recreational game.
David Janczewski, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of CoinCover is a keen follower and supporter of cricket in the area with ties to Cowbridge Cricket Club. He recently spoke of the recent partnership in saying, “we are delighted to support the South region in their endeavours for the coming season and welcome the partnership with Cricket Wales. We want to wish all boys and girls in the region an enjoyable and productive summer of pathway cricket!"
Cricket Wales Head Pathway Matt Thompson commented, “we are really pleased to begin an exciting partnership with CoinCover through their support of the CWS programme. David has a huge passion for cricket and to have an innovative and highly accomplished company ‘on our team’ further underpins our ambitions within pathway cricket. Coincover’s support of the programme will contribute greatly towards the development of young cricketers in the region over the next year. We hope this is the beginning of a fruitful relationship between the two organisations for a long time to come.”
