Cricket Wales Area Manager (North Wales)

 

As the Area Manager for North Wales which covers part of Mid & West Wales geographically, Sue manages the North Wales staff team to deliver on our key programmes including Coach Education, Women & Girls’ Cricket, Chance to Shine, All Stars & Dynamos as well supporting our club, league and volunteer network. Sue’s professional background comes from Sport & Community Development and includes previous roles at County Football Associations; Merseyside Sports Partnership; Sport England’s Active Colleges Programme & the Youth Sport Trust School Games Programme. Outside of Cricket Wales Sue is a Safeguarding Children Tutor for Cheshire Football Association & The Welsh Football Trust as well as being a guest lecturer on Chester University’s Sport Development & Policy Module. Her sporting background is within football having been a part of Shropshire Girls’ County Age groups throughout her youth having gone on to play at regional level within the women’s game for a number of teams.
