Women's & Girls' Development Officer – South East Wales

An ECB Level 2 coach Becky leads women and girls activity in the South East of Wales. Becky has two daughters who have have progressed through the national pathway; representing Wales from U13 to U19 and Women’s Senior Development teams. Radyr CC Becky’s local Club where she is the Women’s and Girls’ cricket Coordinator and has been for the last 8 years. 2020 has being a historic year for the Club seeing the formation of the first ever Women’s hardball team playing in the South West League. 

Becky has an immense passion for the game and more importantly enjoys encourage young girls to play and love cricket.  Women’s softball festivals have been a huge focus for her over the last few years and their success has meant that she has also been involved in setting up a Women’s competitive softball league in SE and SW Wales. The rise in popularity of softball cricket has been phenomenal and has led to a surge in women becoming involved in the running of their clubs from volunteering and coaching to sitting on management committees.

In her spare time Becky enjoys running, hill walking with my family and our dog and going to the gym.
