Pennaeth Rhaglen Talentau / Head of Talent Pathway       

Matt was appointed in April 2018 from the prestigious cricket department at Millfield School in Somerset.

A ECB Level 3 Coach, Matt has a strong coaching and academic background through previous roles which include Performance Director of Cricket at Cardiff Metropolitan University as well as an Associate Lecturer. A first class degree and PG Dip in Sports Coaching, as well as being a qualified PE teacher Matt oversees the national talent pathway which encompasses the Regional Cricket programme, the Wales National Counties operations, and the Disability Performance programme in addition to working closely with Glamorgan’s running of the boys and girls Wales Age Groups. 

A Devonian originally, Matt currently plays for Congresbury in the WEPL league and has over 13 years playing experience at National Counties level. Outside of cricket Matt sits on the board of Trustees for Torquay Girls Grammar School, where he Chairs the Education & Outcomes committee.
