Mark is a former player with Glamorgan where he was part of the 1993 Sunday League winning squad.
Since those days Mark has worked in sport management mainly for Sport Wales where he was part of the Senior Management Team overseeing all its grassroots work with governing bodies of sport and local government. In between Mark worked in the early days of the Cricket Board of Wales based back in Sophia Gardens.
On his third stint in Cricket Mark now works in a joint role across the professional and recreational arms of cricket in Wales. Key areas of work for Cricket Wales are overseeing the growth of the flagship All Stars Cricket programme, women and girls softball cricket as well as overseeing the three area teams. At Glamorgan Mark ensures a smooth running of the Cricket Centre, growth of the Stadium Tour programme, Matchday cricket and community activation and a range of cricket for good social projects. In between he also writes with the occasional piece of published fiction and is the Chair of Penarth Cricket Club.
