Small Grants Scheme 2019

|

In 2018 Cricket Wales received a £108K pot for Small Grants. Over 100 clubs applied with an application value of £220k. After some difficult decisions a number of clubs where supported in line with the last years criteria.

This year the ECB introduced a one off Cricket World Cup (CWC) fund. 75 clubs in Wales are benefiting from a £1k grant which has totalled £75k and has now maxed out for us in Wales. As a result of this grant and the proactive up take our 2019 pot for small grants is £34k for the whole of Wales. This effectively means just £11.3k for each area (North, South and West)

Therefore after discussion we have made the decision to respectfully ask clubs not send applications this year. The local area teams will approach clubs that have missed out on the 2018 SGS grants scheme. The local teams will also take into account any strategic needs for their area.

We trust you understand and we look forward to supporting you in the coming years. If you have any issues or require further clarification please contract your local Cricket Wales teams.
