Rhondda Cynon Taf Lockdown Statement
16th September 2020
| Mallory Gray
Cricket Wales are aware of the latest local lockdown measures that have been announced, affecting the Rhondda Cynon Taf Borough Council Area, which come into force at 6pm on Thursday 17th September.
These will be in addition to the measures already in place in Caerphilly Borough Council and, as it stands, will restrict people from entering or leaving the RCT Borough without a reasonable excuse, and will also require licensed premises in the area to close at 11pm.
The increase in Coronavirus cases and the emergence of local lockdowns is clearly an evolving and very serious matter in Wales. We would remind ALL clubs and participants across the country that it is imperative that Cricket continues to respect the law and adheres to guidelines issued jointly by Cricket Wales and the England & Wales Cricket Board.
Further relevant updates will be posted on our channels as we receive them.
