Player of the Month Awards - August

The LV= Players of the Month for August are Matthew Blake and Megan Burton.
Matthew has been a member of this season's U12 squad and enjoyed an excellent run of form during August with the following performances: 72* and 46* v Somerset; 70 v Essex; 54 v Cornwall; 45 v Dorset. Matthew also manged to find time to take 3 for 15 in 8 overs against Yorkshire.
Megan is a member of the Senior Women's team. Scores of 106 v Gloucestershire and 46 against Yorkshire were enough to bring her one of the August awards.
Matthew and Megan received their awards from Glamorgan's Dean Cosker, accompanied by Peter Lawlor of LV= and John Derrick, Performance Manager for Cricket Wales.
