|

A cricket coach from North Wales have been recognised for their contributions to the sport.

Joe Lambe, junior coach at Llandudno Cricket Club has been named received the Outstanding Contribution to Coaching award from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

The awards were presented at the Headingley Cricket Ground by Ex England cricketer Graham Thorpe,

Joe said " I had a fantastic day with memories I will cherish forever, The ECB ambassadors for the day looked after all of us coaches  royally and made us all feel very valued and welcomed. I am blessed to receive an award from the governors of the game I love. Coaching cricket to youngsters I would recommend to anyone either as an ex player, parent or someone who just loves the game.
It is all consuming and there is so much we can all give back to our future generations to help them 'love the game' like us."
