Cricket Wales is pleased to announce that Mark White has been appointed as Head of Participation and will now lead on growing the game for Cricket Wales.

Mark stated:

"I am thrilled to step into the role of Head of Participation, continuing the incredible work that Mark Frost has accomplished over the last nine years as Community Development Manager.  I recognise the responsibility of filing such big shoes (size12!) but I am genuinely excited to get started.  With fantastic staffing and a dedicated group of passionate volunteers, we are well-positioned  to make a significant impact.  We are about to embark on a new strategy that I will be project managing, i'll be launching a Women's & Girl's working group shortly to accelerate the growth we have already achieved in this space.  I feel deeply privileged  to be taking up this post, and I look forward to playing the fullest possible role I can to ensure that cricket achieves its goal of becoming the most inclusive team sport in Wales."

CEO Barry Cawte commented that:

"Mark's proven leadership, passion for the game, and commitment  to inclusivity stood out, and we are confident he will play a key role in shaping the future of cricket in Wales.  Mark will lead efforts to drive  participation across all levels of the sport, while fostering a unified culture within the organisation and across the wider cricketing community.  We are excited for the fresh perspective and energy he brings to this role.  Mark's appointment marks an exciting new chapter for Cricket Wales, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact he will have in the years to come,"
