Haverfordwest CC made tremendous progress recently with the announcement of the formation of a Disability Squad.
Haverfordwest Blue Lightning, the youth element of Haverfordwest Cricket Club newest members in 2016 will be the ‘Blue Lightning Disability’ squad.
In conjunction with Cricket Wales Disability Officer Les Randall, the Club coaches ran a number of winter indoor sessions alongside Pembroke Dock Cricket Club, introducing cricket to young people and vulnerable adults with disabilities in the community.
Haverfordwest has received a grant of £500.00from Cricket Wales for the Disability project
Cricket Wales is establishing a pathway for elite players to move into Development Improvement Hubs with the ambition of representing their Country. Disability officer Les Randall spoke of "The enthusiasm shown in Pembrokeshire to include all people in the game of cricket."
