Gwenan Davies Selected for the England Development Squad

Since returning from Dubai Gwenan Davies has been selected for the England Women's Development Programme U19 squad. Her outstanding performances in the Arch Trophy saw Gwenan come in first place of the tournament MVP rankings with a total of 67.71 a full 3 points ahead of second place. Gwenan saw her way to first place with a total of 170 runs across the four matches. Gwenan scored 102 against Lancashire and 58* against Sussex. Gwenan also bowled well throughout the tournament taking three wickets and two excellent catches.
Cricket Wales is incredibly proud of Gwenan, especially her achievements in Dubai and her selection for the EDWP U19 squad for 2013. The hard work Gwenan has put into her cricket over the last 10 years is now paying off and she is getting the rewards she deserves.
