Disability Cricket Performance Update with Les Randall

|

After our successful tour to Sri Lanka,we were looking forward for our first season in the National County Championship .

We trained well over the winter and for the first time we had a dedicated strength and conditioning coach to make sure we were fit enough for the challenge and then came the lockdown. A lot of the boys found it hard over lockdown, as you can imagine but they have all come through it.

With the County Championship being postponed until next year we started to look for games on a Sunday against local sides. The response from the network has been fantastic!

Here are the fixtures so far:

Sunday 26th July   Haverfordwest

Sunday 2nd August   Lisvane

Sunday 9th August  Briton Ferry

Sunday 16th August  Newport Fugitives

Sunday 23rd August Port Talbot

Saturday 29th Welsh Girls

Sunday 6th September  Neyland

Sunday 13th September  TBC

Sunday 20th September  Dolgellac

Sunday 27th September   TBC

We aim to start our Development Centres up in October in addition to our Table Cricket Programme and our Schools Programme in September. If you would like a friendly game against us, or wish to find out how to get involved in Disability cricket please contact Les Randall via email ([email protected]).
