Cricket Wales Welcomes You to the New Year and Our New Website!

|

Blwyddyn Newydd Dda/New Year to the Welsh Cricket Family.  We hope you have had a safe and peaceful break over Christmas and are as hopeful as we are about the opportunities for our sport in 2021.

We are delighted to today launch our new-look website and brand, which we hope you enjoy.

Our new website has been designed to inform, engage and entertain our clubs, participants and stakeholders, and to amplify the work of our officers in clubs, communities and schools up and down the country. We hope you will find it user-friendly, attractive and helpful.

We encourage our network to take a look around the new site and sign up to our newsletter, to stay informed about all of the exciting things we hope to enable and support in Welsh Cricket in 2021.

Commenting on the new Cricket Wales brand, which accompanies our website, Cricket Wales CEO, Leshia Hawkins, commented, “We sought to update our corporate image to match and embody the organisation we are – and that we want to represent; a national governing body which is modern, bold, forward-looking, inclusive and absolutely passionate about our Welsh identity, and, of course cricket.

“I hope our staff and our young players in the pathway will be proud to wear our new badge.

“There is so much we want to achieve as an organisation, and as a sport, in the coming years - we felt this launch would be a timely and exciting kickstart to our endeavours and ambitions to serve and grow cricket’s reach and relevance in Wales.”

Cricket Wales are grateful to Cardiff-based Flex Systems for their expertise in helping us to design and develop our new website and logo.

*Please note that in the first 72 hours of the site going live (04.01.21) some aspects of functionality may not be fully operational.
