CRICKET WALES CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Cricket Wales is recruiting for a new CEO to lead the organisation on its first joint strategy with Glamorgan Cricket. Increased ECB resource for the game in Wales makes this an extremely exciting opportunity for an individual with the required leadership, drive, commitment and expertise, to take recreational cricket in Wales to the next level.

The role is based at the Cricket Wales head office at the Sophia Gardens Stadium, Cardiff, but given that it requires travel throughout Wales, a certain amount of work can be undertaken from home.

2020 onwards will see one of eight new men’s teams and eight new women’s teams based in Cardiff for the new fast-moving ECB competition ‘The Hundred’. As a consequence Glamorgan Cricket will play more matches throughout Wales. New ECB mass participation initiatives will be launched alongside ‘The Hundred’, thereby providing great opportunities to develop recreational cricket throughout Wales.
