CRICKET WALES BOYS AGE-GROUP APPOINTMENTS

Following a successful recruitment process Cricket Wales is
pleased to announce that the following boys’ Wales Age-Group appointments have
been made in advance of the 2017 season.
The new post-holders will start their
pre-season work with Wales squad sessions between Christmas and New Year,
followed by further sessions during February half-term and the Easter holidays.
Fixtures will then follow throughout the summer against English County Boards
and other high quality opposition.
The individuals appointed are:
- Wales U15 Boys Darren
Thomas
- Wales U14 Boys Michael
Clayden; Jamie Griffiths
- Wales U13 Boys Lee
Herring
- Wales U11 Boys Ali
Waldron
Acting Cricket Wales Performance Manager Mark Walton is
pleased with the additions to his team:

will bring a great deal of enthusiasm, experience and expertise to the Wales
Age-Group fold. The recruitment process was very competitive and many
individuals impressed the appointments panel making the final decisions quite
challenging. I look forward to working with both new and existing team members
as we prepare f or another extensive season of Wales Boys Age-Group cricket’
