Glamorgan and Cricket Wales Announce Roadshow Return
Cricket fans across Wales are invited to attend a cricket road show coming to an area near them and hosted jointly by Glamorgan CCC and Cricket Wales to discuss the future of the sport.
A series of road shows will take place in seven regions of Wales to provide information about the future plans for recreational and professional cricket in this country, whilst attendees will be able to discuss their views with the Peter Hybart Chief Executive of Cricket Wales and Hugh Morris the new Chief Executive of Glamorgan CCC. A number of Glamorgan players and coaches, including Head coach Toby Radford, Steve Watkin and captain Mark Wallace, will be in attendance and will be on hand for a Q&A session at the events.The road shows will be hosted by former Glamorgan and England spin bowler, Robert Croft, with the first event at Ynystawe on Tuesday 4th March at 6.30pm.

Glamorgan's Chief Executive and Director of Cricket Hugh Morris said, "Developing the future young talented cricketers will be essential for the future of the game in Wales. Glamorgan and Cricket Wales, who look after the recreational game in Wales, are working more closely than ever and only by aligning our organisations together will we be able to be successful. We'll be visiting clubs around Wales to explain how the two organisations aim to improve the sport in Wales and how cricket clubs, players, spectators and volunteers can help.
"First team coaches and players will be joining us at each event, so attendees will have a unique opportunity to speak directly to them as well as Peter Hybart, Cricket Wales Chief Executive and myself at the same time."
Peter Hybart, Cricket Wales Chief Executive added, "The roadshow events were very successful last year, so I am delighted to confirm we will be repeating them before the start of the new season. We hope that the sessions will once again offer an exciting insight into the future of Welsh cricket for both supporters and clubs."
Every registered attendee at each event will receive a free Championship ticket for a Glamorgan match in 2014, to be redeemed at Rhos-on-Sea, St Helen's, Swansea or at the SWALEC Stadium in Cardiff. Each event will start at 6.30pm.
