The competition was open to all their junior member and involved entrants posting/ sending a video of their best cricket skills or backyard cricket practice. Young people of Monmouth CC were encouraged to be as creative and humorous as possible.

Each person entering receives a wind ball, and each age group winner gets a reaction ball. An overall winner for the most entertaining video will receive a grand prize of a backyard cricket set. The age groups include All Stars, U9, U11, U13 and U15s.

Some of the entries have been inventive videos shot on back gardens demonstrating a cricket skill with music as well in some cases!

The competition will close on June 12th and the final decision will be made by the MCC Committee.  Delyth has encouraged all the MCC young people: -

“I hope you will all get involved and show us how you've been keeping up your cricket up during the lockdown.”
