Applications welcomed for Community Coach posts in Cardiff
11th January 2013
| Mallory Gray
Cricket Wales, the governing body for cricket in Wales, exists to lead, inspire and influence the growth, quality and accessibility of cricket in Wales.
In 2011 as part of the Ashes Legacy Plan we set ourselves the target of ‘doubling the number of junior club teams by 2020’. Cricket Wales is looking to appoint two part-time Community Coaches to help us deliver our target by coaching at identified clubs and schools in Cardiff. If you think you can be the catalyst to increasing participation in cricket then this is the job for you.
The posts are for 12 months in the year but with the majority of hours between April and September. Please see the attached Job Description and Person Specification for further details.
Applicants should submit a covering letter and their CV to
[email protected] or Michael Beacham, Cricket Development Officer (Cardiff, the Vale and Mid Glamorgan), Cricket Wales, c/o Glamorgan Cricket, The SWALEC Stadium, Cardiff CF11 9XR. The closing date for applications is Friday 1st February 2013.
The posts are supported by Sport Wales and the Cricket Foundations’ Chance to Shine initiative.
