Dyfrig Jones

Prior to working for Cricket Wales, Dyfrig was a Secondary School teacher for over 30 years in Welsh medium education. He has enjoyed playing cricket with his sons for their local club, and recently his wife (after years of complaining !) has also caught the cricket bug playing for the ladies’ team. For Dyfrig, Cricket is all about bringing families and communities together. He is Director of Junior Cricket at his club and is very passionate and excited about coaching juniors.

Outside of cricket he enjoys walking the Anglesey Coastal Path, playing squash, and at home he enjoys playing his guitar and listening to Progressive Rock Music very loudly.
