To date, Dan has helped to oversee the development of Sophia Gardens to become an international venue in 2008 and has been responsible for the operational delivery of some of cricket’s biggest events in Cardiff. This included two Ashes Test matches and several matches in the 2019 Cricket World Cup, alongside Glamorgan and Welsh Fire fixtures, plus major conferences and concerts. In 2025 Dan played a key role in the ECB deal to bring Welsh Fire under the shared ownership of Glamorgan and Washington Freedom, with Dan taking on the role of CEO for The Hundred franchise alongside his Glamorgan commitments.
