Captains’ Video The Behaviours Framework in Wales

Thanks to all clubs that have put the Behaviours Framework Poster up on your clubhouses, changing rooms and copied onto WhatsApp groups. If you haven’t done this please get the poster across your club’s network. Also please sign the pledge if you haven’t yet done this here.

This an important campaign for all clubs to get behind with the ultimate purpose of making the game we play an enjoyable experience.

To this end we have produced the next item in this campaign to promote the spirit of cricket and expected behaviours which is this film.

Please again share the link which is a very short encouragement for ALL captains of any level and type of cricket to own the behaviours on the field and set high standards. We’d love it if you share on your channels, internal WhatsApp groups and frankly anyway that gets across all club members.

Our goal is to foster a positive match‑day environment, protect the wellbeing of everyone involved, and continue our mission to make cricket the most inclusive sport.  In the past the ‘Spirit of Cricket’ was emphasised in different ways and one of them being the initiative ‘Chwarae Teg’ which this Behaviours’ Framework embodies and reframes for 2026.

In the autumn and winter watch out for more training to support clubs to make this the ‘Welsh Way’.
