2026 South Wales Women’s Presentation Evening: A night to celebrate women’s cricket in South Wales

2026 South Wales Women’s Presentation Evening: A night to celebrate women’s cricket in South Wales

The 2026 South Wales Women’s Presentation Evening brought the cricket community together for a night of recognition, celebration and plenty of fun.

Players, clubs, volunteers and supporters came together at Holland House for an evening celebrating another fantastic season of women’s cricket across South Wales.

With league and cup winners recognised throughout the evening, the event was an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of clubs and players across the region, while also recognising the outstanding individual performances that have helped make the season such a success.

Celebrating our champions

From hardball to softball, clubs across South Wales were recognised for their achievements during the 2026 season.

There were celebrations across the Hardball Premier Division and Division 1, and a host of Softball divisions across the South East and South West Wales.

The evening also recognised the winners of the major cup competitions, including the Women’s Hardball Welsh Cup, Women’s Softball Welsh Cup, Women’s Softball Plate and U14 Girls Welsh Cup.

The presentation highlighted just how much women’s cricket continues to grow, with clubs from right across Wales represented among the league and cup winners.

Individual excellence

The evening also provided an opportunity to celebrate the outstanding individual performances from across the leagues.

There were some particularly impressive numbers recorded during the season.

The evening also saw the presentation of the Anna Harris Volunteer Award, with Mike Knight of Newport CC recognised for his contribution.

More than just cricket

While the awards were at the heart of the evening, there was plenty going on away from the presentation stage too.

Guests heard from Mark Frost as part of the Cricket Wales charity element, before the evening took a more competitive turn with a game of Heads & Tails, raising a £5 donation.

The auction added plenty of excitement, with guests getting involved and helping to make the evening even more memorable.

And, of course, there was the raffle, giving guests another chance to take home some fantastic prizes while supporting the evening’s fundraising activities.

A fantastic night for women’s cricket

The evening was ultimately about celebrating the people who make women’s cricket possible — the players, clubs, coaches, volunteers, officials and supporters who give so much to the game.

From league champions and cup winners to individual award winners and volunteers, the evening showcased the talent, commitment and community that continues to drive women’s cricket forward.

Congratulations to all of our winners and a huge thank you to everyone who helped make the 2026 South Wales Women’s Presentation Evening such a fantastic occasion.
