The Foundations

At Cricket Wales, we are committed to ensuring that cricket in Wales has the right facilities to support how our sport is adapting and growing.

Building on our pillars, facilities development is critical to the long-term sustainability of cricket, enabling clubs to thrive and communities to engage.

We provide both technical and funding support to help clubs turn their development ambitions into reality. The first step is to connect with our Club Development Partners, who offer expert guidance on facility planning and can link clubs with a network of specialists.

The Clubs

Each club is encouraged to create a clear vision outlining priorities across key development areas, including facilities. From these plans, projects are identified and prioritised for tailored support.

Our team then works with clubs to navigate the most appropriate investment opportunities and ensure they are investment-ready, with strong governance in place.

Funding is available for eligible clubs that align with the strategic priorities of Cricket Wales, Sport Wales and the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

We want everyone to care about cricket, be bold, brave, and join us on this journey. Together we can lead the sport to new realms of sustainability, building facilities that make cricket a sport for all.
