Developing the next generation of coaches for Women and Girls’ cricket
Developing the next generation of coaches for Women and Girls’ cricket
Cricket Wales is encouraging coaches involved in Women and Girls’ cricket to take the next step in their coaching journey through our Metro Bank Aspire Core Coach courses.
The Aspire Core Coach programme has been designed specifically to support coaches working with women and girls, helping them develop their coaching knowledge, skills and confidence while contributing to the continued growth of the women’s and girls’ game in Wales.
Why does this matter?
The quality of the coaching experience can have a huge impact on a player’s development, confidence and enjoyment of cricket. By developing more qualified coaches who understand the needs of women and girls, we can help create stronger coaching environments and provide more opportunities for players to progress and reach their potential.
We have four Metro Bank Aspire Core Coach courses taking place across Wales starting later this month and beyond:
Bryncethin, Bridgend
28 November, 23 January, 20 February & 20 March
Bethesda
29 November, 24 January, 21 February & 21 March
Darland, Wrexham
5 December, 30 January, 27 February & 13 March
Ebbw Vale

The cost of the course is £400.
