It’s been a season of growth, competition and achievement across women’s cricket in Wales.
The 2026 season has seen another significant step forward for women’s club cricket across Wales, with teams competing across hardball and softball formats, providing opportunities for players at different stages of their cricketing journey.
From the top level of the South Wales Premier League through to the regional softball divisions, clubs have continued to grow, develop and provide more opportunities for women to play competitive cricket.

The 2026 women’s league season has been another important year in the continued development of the women’s game in Wales.
The combination of hardball and softball competitions means clubs can offer cricket to players with different levels of experience, while the league structure provides a clear pathway for players and teams looking to progress.
Across South and North Wales, the commitment of clubs, captains, coaches, volunteers and players has been central to another successful season.
