Women's League Competitions

Women and girls’ cricket leagues across Wales are built on a diverse and growing network of clubs, each playing a vital role in the development of the game. Across competitions such as the South Wales Women’s Cricket League and the North Wales Women’s Cricket League, teams represent communities from across the country, offering opportunities for players of all abilities to take part in both softball and hardball formats. From established clubs with multiple teams to new and emerging sides entering the game, the leagues provide structured and inclusive competition. In South Wales, a wide range of divisions—including Premier hardball, development leagues, and multiple softball tiers—ensure players can find the right level to enjoy and progress in the game. Meanwhile, North Wales continues to expand with clubs from across the region coming together to compete in a growing league structure, reflecting the increasing demand for women and girls’ cricket opportunities. Together, these leagues showcase the strength, depth and community spirit of women’s cricket in Wales, with every team contributing to a vibrant and sustainable future for the game.
